Bradford City FC Community Foundation is a charity and a football club in Bradford. We are a self-funded charity and BCFC's community office. We provide football and multi-skills coaching to schools and all areas of the community, working with a diverse range of people, from the homeless and look-after children, to the older generations, refugees, the Princes Trust and so on.
We are a self-funded charity and our main aim is to promote the improvement of health and wellbeing of the local community through the medium of football and multisports. We aim to encourage more people of all ages, race, gender and ability to play football and multisports whilst educating them in the areas of health and fitness. We work in schools, as well as with people and groups in local the community.
In addition to the above, we currently have 7 disability football teams, and are working with homeless groups, looked-after/foster cared children, have hosted a heritage project and are still heavily involved in raising monies for the Bradford Burns Unit Appeal. We have links with Holland and Germany and have competed in a disability football tournament with teams from these countries for the last 4 years.
